Alaska Industrial X-ray was created by Peter Millar & Donald Spahr in 1973 as a joint venture between two welding instructors who worked for the Alaska Community College (UAA today).  By 1975 Peter Millar decided to take over the business alone with his wife Caroline Millar as the sole owners of the business.  For 42 years, numerous employees, struggles and triumphs Alaska Industrial X-ray has provided welder qualification, welder procedure development, and nondestructive testing capabilities throughout the State of Alaska and around the world.  Alaska Industrial X-ray is now a second generation owned Alaskan company who continues to provide quality inspection and testing services in the last frontier.
